Exploration of Acadia National Park
"LOCAL WEATHER". Since Acadia National Park is on the ocean on the eastern
seaboard it enjoys a cooler climate with wonderful
breezes from the shore. Like the summer people that
came in the early 1900s to now, people still come to get
away from the stench and heat in the cities.
Like most areas on the east coast we do get rain showers and
like more areas on the shore, we do experience fog
sometimes, but usually it burns off revealing beautiful blue
skies that reflect in the waters. Most days in
the area are very beautiful, each different day provides a
different view and perspective making it very interesting
and picturesque. While rainy days may keep you from
sightseeing, there are plenty of shops to visit, something
everybody enjoys, so don't let the weather put a damper on
your vacation plans. |
